Changed: now the toolbar, omnibox and new tab page background are a little bit lighter. From 12 Lightness to 14 on HSL, from 30 to 36 RGB. This change was due to Relentless active tabs being lost when a webpage only has light mode.
Dev's note: Relentless is the first theme that I created, and therefore the most important to me, but also, it is probably the most difficult to develop. For some reason, Relentless never had the users that I expected, and I've been thinking through the years about what is the reason for this, and I think that is because screens are SO DIFFERENT. Take for example, the laptop that I've owned since like 14 years ago, there you don't know which one is the active tab when using Relentless, but in my desktop PC with a cheap monitor from like 8 years ago, it's perfect. I also never wanted to make Relentless lighter, because I think for my entire life I've always been a night guy, so for me, your browser or anything that you see in your screen in the night has to be the perfect exact quantity of contrast and the right grey colors, and this is a challenge for every service and every Internet offering out there, but it is my passion to find the solution to issues like these. So after months and months thinking about it, I decided to make Relentless a little bit lighter. I already tested it and I'm loving it. It's definitely an upgrade whenever seeing a dark theme website or a light theme website, even using Windows on light mode, even using your PC at 1am or at 5:23am like right now. Anyway, I hope you like the crazy productive days that I've been doing this last week and the updates to every single theme that I've been releasing, and my new Project Crucible with my 2 new themes: Flamingo Light and Good Pretender. I'm already working on the next one, it will be an interesting combination of colors that I've never used in the past. Changed description: "You'll forget that you're using a web browser. Relentless by Tatsze" -> "The one. Relentless by Tatsze".
Fixed: now when you install the theme, the text that says that you installed a theme matches the tab text, omnibox text, bookmark text and toolbar icons instead of difficult to see grey. It also affects the sidebar title of things (Customize Chrome, Favorites and others).
Changed all the texts to a subtly brighter white.
Removed my incognito color scheme. Good bye, purple incognito.
Dev's note: Hi, guys! When I first added my incognito color scheme to all my themes, I sent feedback to Google, telling them that we (developers) need more options when customizing incognito windows, and I wrote some suggestions and they said that the ideas were brilliant, that they were going to talk it with their team and add them soon. It's been like 2 years and there are no news on this. My plan was to be ahead of other developers when this new functions were going live, but... let's just say that Google doesn't care as I do. It is really sad to me, but that's just how things are. I'll remove all my incognito schemes from all my themes.
Reduced theme size by A LOT. From 5.5KiB to 4.48KiB!
Changed description of the theme. Now it says "Relentless by Tatsze" at the end, so hopefully when people search for "Tatsze" on the Chrome Web Store, it finds Relentless. Let's cross fingers, I've tried to fix this for more than one year.
By the way, next month Relentless is having its second birthday ๐๐ฅณ๐๐ I think I'm getting to a point where I can finally say that one of my themes is perfect, and that will be Relentless.
Fixed the bottom left bar that appears when the user hover over a link. Now it matches the theme.
Fixed the Incognito frame. It just wasn't showing the purple, instead it was showing the frame of the normal windows.
Changed toolbar. Now it is lighter.
Dev's note: Hi guys! I know I've made this change before. In this update, I actually use a toolbar color that I used before, but I don't remember in which version. The thing is that I was underestimating the contrast, so this version uses some of it.
Changed icon to use my new standard icon.
Changed new tab page background in order to match the new toolbar.
Changed manifest to version 3. This doesn't change anything for the user, nor for me.

Dev's note: 2.8 lost some users (but my entire collection of themes gained A LOT of users! Thanks!), and that broke my heart. I've been studying this theme a lot since I released the first version, and I easily got into some troubles: it turns out that create themes is pretty difficult, and when it comes to dark themes, the thing gets reeaaally serious. I always felt that I have the best dark theme in the world, but that doesn't mean it can't get better than that, and I'm a little crazy about making a better job than yesterday, because I always try to improve things. Relentless will always be the best dark mode in the world, no matter what, that's what I wanted to say.

Removed the gradients entirely from the theme.
Dev's note: Hi guys! After making a lot of experiments, I found that the gradients on the theme are not that great because of the current capabilities that the Chrome Team give to the developers. I already sent a lot of feedback making suggestions and telling them some problems that I have. For now, the theme will stay with no images and only solid colors. The benefit we got from experimenting with gradients is that we were finally able to get rid of the white line around the tabs/toolbar. Thank you for your downloads! :-D
Added my original Incognito color scheme (again) to the theme. Now without the white line around the tabs/toolbar.
Fixed screenshots and icon in order to match the new version.
Changed the icon and banners of the theme (those that appear when you search the theme in the Store) in order to show better the elegance and the gradient (since 2.5) of the theme.
Changed screenshots of the theme in the Store. Now they have zoom! :-D
Added author's name (Tatsze) to the code. Dev's note: let's cross fingers that now if you search "Tatsze" on the Store, Relentless is a result ๐ค๐ป
Now, clicking on the "website" link of the theme in the Store redirects to this exact page (Changelog). In fact, this now works with every one of my themes.
Changed the two images (frame and toolbar). Now the toolbar is way more readable, especially the space of the bookmarks bar. Now the theme size is... wait for it... 4.87 KB!!!!!!! WTF #OMGOMGOMG #LEGENDARY
Changed the omnibox background. Now it should better match the new toolbar.

Changed toolbar and frame elements. Now Relentless is made with images, this allows for a significantly more pleasant view and... YES! It removes the white outline from the toolbar (tabs included). Note: Relentless and all my themes will always be lightweight, so don't worry, the size of the theme in this version is LESS THAN 25 KB!!! #CoolCoolCool <3

Dev's note: thank you for installing my themes, guys <3 With this version, I can now proudly say that Relentless is the best dark theme for Google Chrome that I've ever seen, and you know what? It'll be much better! :-D Also, the Google Chrome's team answered my feedback about the full ability to customize Incognito mode, they said they'll work on it *-* in this version, Relentless got rid of my specific color scheme for Incognito mode because 2 things: we are preparing for the new feature and because right now it is so difficult (I don't want to say 'impossible') to do that when you have images on the theme. Please wait, my dear users. Big things are coming :-D
Changed omnibox background in order to match the minimalist style from all my themes. Now, it should be like a hundred times more readable and easier to locate, plus it looks more beautiful.
Added a different color scheme for Incognito windows. It follows an original idea of what the mystery should look like. Now differentiating between a Incognito window and a normal window should be the easiest thing in the world, plus it looks beautiful.
Changed background tab text to be a little bit lighter, so it is now more readable.
Fixed the screenshot in the Chrome Web Store to match my other themes. Now shows the contrast between active tabs and inactive tabs correctly and shows the new color scheme for Incognito windows.
Fixed the buttons from the toolbar (refresh, home, back, forward and settings buttons) to be a little bit more noticeable (thanks to Cruzanty for his feedback).
Added colors to the omnibox (text and background) - Note: as many websites doesn't have clean URLs, I decided to not make omnibox text lighter than this because it could cause distraction to the users.
Changed some elements in order to give more logic to the entire color palette.
Fixed the description of the theme to match the concept of it.
Changed the theme price. it is now free for everyone! :-D
Removed the bluish colors. Now the full color palette is full of grays; no blacks, no whites, no blues.
Fixed description to match that now the theme is free and added a donations link from Paypal, in case someone thinks that I did a good job.
Relentless is officially launched in the Chrome Web Store :-D (version 1 doesn't exist).
